Content Marketing

Job Description:

You will be responsible for managing a communications strategy for Ministry Sync using Facebook, Twitter, MailChimp, LinkedIn and our blog. A successful candidate will be an engaging writer who can demonstrate social media expertise, plan marketing campaigns, suggest new initiatives, and be able to prove results.

In addition, you will work with our team to procure compelling content and stories for the communications channels to fortify brand messaging. Using these channels, you will provide intelligence and insight regarding brand feedback and prospective needs and interests.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelors degree with 2 to 3 years of marketing or social media experience.
  • Competent and engaging writer.
  • Motivated, self-starter, and a quick learner.
  • Basic design skills using Photoshop.
  • Competent with computers, preferrably Mac.
  • Competent with mobile platforms, both iOS and Android.
  • Analytical in nature, detail oriented.
  • Excellent grasp of English grammar and language, good at proofreading.
  • Resourceful, positive, do-what-it-takes attitude.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good listener; works well with others.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines.


  • Develop social media campaigns across channels.
  • Execute campaigns, including drafting copy, finding images, designing the posts and posting.
  • Measure and share results.
  • Engage with the user community.
  • Create and communicate strategic communication plans to supervisors.
  • Identify key bloggers and other influencers and develop and maintain relationships with them. Maintain a log of influencers and make recommendations on how to partner with them for various initiatives.

Work Time:

  • Starting part-time 15-25 hours.
  • Working mostly during normal business hours (9:00-5:30 CT) with options of off-hours (will need to discuss).
  • Position open starting July, 2018.
